A downloadable domestic-horror for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Plot Synopsis:
From a mix of pressures from your parents and an accident that has left you as half a person, you are forced to move in with your boyfriend earlier than expected despite only dating for a few months. Before moving in he had his obvious quirks, but that aside you've started to notice odder behavior. Your main goal is to figure out who he was before getting together, and what peculiar behavior he's been up to after moving in. This can be done a number of ways: snoop around places of the house you haven't been before, or interact with other people of the community for other perspectives. This game is set in the 90s, and as such won't have any technology or ideas from the 2000's.
Gameplay:
The game is point n click with visual novel elements.
It will consist of completing minigames, remembering specific clues and overall using critical thinking skills when they're presented with difficult situations. In game the player may choose their own name and sex. There will be more than one ending.
When playing this game it is recommended to have a notepad and pencil nearby. This game is best played using headphones.

theres something wrong with the mac file,but this game is abandoned so..well
oh youre still active,the coding in the mac file probably has errors,a coding screen just pop up when i roll to bukki dialogue,pls check it TwT
Hello! I don't necessarily have a mac machine to test on unfortunately; this is the latest I've heard of it giving mac users an issue. Could you possibly screen shot the error so I may see where it's being flagged in the code? :)

So I was researching the error: (oserror: [Errno 30] Read-only file system error), since this seems to be a Mac specific error.
"The
OSError: [Errno 30] Read-only file systemerror in Ren'Py on a Mac system indicates that the application is attempting to write data to a location where it does not have the necessary permissions. This is a common issue, especially with newer macOS versions like Catalina and later, which enforce stricter security measures and a read-only system volume."In short, it seems to be an issue of where Renpy is located- or a permission issue.
1. Incorrect Location of Ren'Py:
.dmgfile or a location that macOS treats as read-only, it will not be able to save game data or project files..dmgfile to a writable location, such as your/Applicationsfolder or your user'sDocumentsorDesktopfolder.(I would suggest checking the location of the .dmg file first before adjusting permissions)
2. Incorrect file permissions:
(This is just some stuff I had found when researching the error, sorry that I can't assist further by running it on a mac machine myself.)

I'm not gonna lie, I am unsure! I would try out the demo in joiplay to test it; (but I unfortunately don't have something to run and emulate it). But if the demo works, then the full game should as well since this game doesn't require a NASA PC to run :> I hope this answers, or helps to answer your question! Another way of playing the game on the run, that I've found, is chrome-cast! All you need is a pc (a friends, or maybe the library) and then you can cast your phone/tablet to the PC and use any of the downloaded programs you have!

Hello! Since I haven't tried joiplay myself I chose to look online for some help for your issue! This is an issue experienced by other people with other titles; and it may be due to a Renpy update:
Here some instructions that I found from reddit that may cure your issue-
"So I kinda solved it. Apparently a lot of people have been having the same problem. And everyones been telling me deferent things. it had something to do with the latest Ren'Py update. All I needed to do apparently was to download the "Joiplay 1.20.005 and plugins update". It's on their Patreon. Posted on September the 15th. Don't know if I'm allowed to post links so just search for it.
Don't forget to download the new plugins AFTER you finish installing the new program. Then re-upload the game to the program. Hope that helps"

Hi, sorry to bother again, i download the 1.20.005 version of joiplay and the renpy plugin and still not worked, i add the file and when i run the game, a few seconds later it gets out and i go back to my home page of my phone. I even tried other older version and i get the same fate lol. Quite different from the other attempt. So i think it's something from the game file that gets this error but idk what it is :'(
If you have other tip or time to work on the error, this would be great! But i understand that this may take time to work on! Again sorry to bother. <3
I'll look into this issue further; as I will be releasing a bug fix + extended demo patch in the near future. From what I saw online a lot of people are having issues playing newer Renpy games on joiplay. So I'll do some code scrubbing to see if I can determine if it's that or something in the games code! Sorry for all the issues your having!
Wow That was intense. I had alot of fun checking out the different answers and routes. Bukki is a very interesting character and i enjoyed seeing a hint of their past as well. Seeing the demo end just made me want for more XD I'm very excited to see future updates ^-^
